Terms and conditions

1. Purpose of the contract

This document establishes the Terms and Conditions of the contactless digital car rental service offered by Jamp, a brand operated by Davima Motors SL (CIF: B12401659).

2. Requirements to rent with Jamp

To make a reservation, the user must meet the following requirements:

  • Be at least 23 years of age.
  • Possess a valid and current driver’s license that has been held for at least 2 years.
  • Have a bank card in your name.

3. Registration, identity verification and documentation

During registration, the user must:

  • Upload a photo of your valid driver’s license.
  • Take a selfie using the Verif system to verify your identity.
  • Optionally, you can add your DNI/NIE/passport, which is recommended to expedite the management of incidents or sanctions.

The entire process is automated and digital. Jamp reserves the right to reject a reservation if verification is not passed.

4. Vehicle reservation

Reservations are made exclusively through the app or website.

Once confirmed, the vehicle will be available at the indicated location and can be opened via the app at the reserved time.

5. Cancellation, modification and non-presentation

  • Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the start of the rental.
  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will not be refunded.
  • In case of no-show, 100% of the rental amount will be charged.
  • Date/time changes are only permitted up to 24 hours before the start date.

6. Delivery and return of the vehicle

  • The vehicle is delivered and returned to the same location (one-way rentals are not permitted).
  • The user must complete the digital check-in and check-out, including photos of the vehicle’s condition and location.
  • If the process is not completed correctly, additional charges may apply.

7. Rental duration and renewals

  • The minimum duration of a reservation is 12 hours.
  • The maximum duration is 3 consecutive months.
  • The user can request an extension within this limit.
  • Jamp reserves the right to accept or reject the renewal.

8. Use of the vehicle

  • The user is responsible for the proper use of the vehicle.
  • Smoking and transporting animals without adequate protection are not permitted.
  • Driving is permitted within the European Union and the United Kingdom.
  • Each reservation has a daily mileage limit, configurable in the app. Any excess will be billed later.

9. Misuse and liability

It is expressly prohibited:

  • Driving off public roads (off-road).
  • Participate in races or sporting events.
  • Using the vehicle for commercial transport or dangerous goods.
  • Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
  • Transferring the vehicle or account to unauthorized third parties.

In these cases, no coverage will apply, and the user may assume the full cost of the vehicle. A complaint may also be filed with the competent authorities.

10. Insurance, additional protection and bail

  • The basic rental does not include comprehensive coverage.
  • The user can purchase FULL Protection during the reservation.

Available protection options:

  • Protection 0 (no additional coverage)
    ⇒ In the event of damage, a deductible of up to 1,500€ will apply.
  • FULL Protection
    ⇒ For 20€/day, the deductible is reduced to 0€.

This protection only covers accidental damage. It does not cover gross negligence or prohibited use.

  • A temporary deposit of 500€ will be charged to the user’s card at the start of the reservation, which will be released after validating the vehicle’s condition.

11. Fuel Policy

  • “Full-to-full” policy: the vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level.
  • Otherwise, the following will apply both:
    • 2.44€/litre refuelled
    • 40€ management fee.

12. Damage, cleanup and penalties

Upon return, the Jamp team will inspect the vehicle’s condition. Charges may apply for:

  • Unreported structural damage or scratches.
  • Excessive dirt or tobacco odor inside the vehicle.

Indicative damage table (Damage Grid)

Charges will be calculated based on:

  • The affected piece
  • The severity of the damage
  • The vehicle model

This table will be available on the website/app. A report will be sent before any charges are applied.

13. Payments, pre-authorizations and additional charges

  • All payments are made by bank card.
  • The user authorizes Jamp to make subsequent charges for damages, cleaning, extra mileage, penalties, etc.

Communication and right of allege

  • The user will be notified by email and app.
  • You may submit comments or evidence prior to the charge.
  • Jamp will resolve the case based on evidence and records.
  • Currently, there is no time limit for submissions.

14. Fines and legal liability

  • In the event of a sanction, the driver’s identification will be provided to the relevant authority.
  • If the fine is paid by Davima, the user will be charged a processing fee.

15. Additional drivers

  • Only the verified person may drive the vehicle.
  • Use of the vehicle by third parties is not permitted.
  • The option to add additional verified drivers will be enabled soon.

16. Assistance and emergencies

  • In case of incident, contact:

  • Support is available 24/7.
  • Depending on availability, a replacement vehicle may be offered.
  • The trailer is only included with FULL Protection.

17. Geolocation and data processing

  • Vehicles have active geolocation outside the rental period.
  • During the rental, it is only activated in cases of:
    • User support
    • Suspicious activity
    • Request from authorities

18. Account Ownership and Security

  • The account is personal and non-transferable.
  • Fraudulent use or transfer of the vehicle will result in the blocking of the service and possible prosecution.
  • The user is responsible for the veracity of the data provided.

19. Billing and taxation

  • An invoice with VAT included will be issued upon completion of the reservation.
  • The invoice will be sent by email and available in the app.
  • Corporate billing is not currently supported, but this option will be available soon.

20. Conflict resolution

In case of dispute, the user may contact:

If no agreement is reached, both parties submit to the Courts of Castellón.

21. Applicable legislation

This contract is governed by current Spanish legislation.
